Levitt at the Falls 2025: Dessa and the 29:11 South African Ensemble

Dessa is a singer, rapper, and writer who fell in love with language and never got over it. Dessa has recorded rap bangers as part of the Doomtree collective and released a live album with the GRAMMY-winning Minnesota Orchestra. On Saturday, August 9, Dessa will be joined by 29:11, a South African ensemble, on the Levitt stage in Sioux Falls. This free concert is one of 50 being held at the state-of-the-art Levitt Shell in Falls Park West. During 2025, the free concerts run May 23 through August 30, usually on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Levitt at the Falls has open, raked-lawn seating (on a first-come, first-served basis). Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. The lawn opens at 6:30 p.m. (food trucks/drink vendors also open) and music starts at 7 p.m.
