PIERRE, S.D. – Main Street in Mitchell will be the hot place to be this weekend during the 4th annual Outkasts Car Club, Cruise In and Hot Rod Show.
"This is a unique car show in that it is limited to 1973 and older custom cars and hot rods," said Mike Hale, president of Outkasts Car Club. "The event is a lot of fun and has great economic impact for the city of Mitchell, up to $750,000 throughout the weekend."
Registration begins at 4 p.m. on Friday, September 26 and will open again at 8 a.m. on Saturday, September 27. The actual show begins Saturday, September 27 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The show is free and open to the public.
"Last year, 300 cars from 14 states and 4 Canadian provinces were in attendance," said Hale. "It would be great to see similar numbers again this year along with new cars and old friends."
