The Centennial Trail is easily accessible. There is a convenience store to purchase fishing licenses and supplies, a playground, swimming and a hiking trail surrounds the lake. There is nothing fussy about eating at Legion Lake. Our menu features homestyle recipes like burgers and fries and homemade apple pie that you can enjoy on the deck, if the weather is nice.Warrior's Work & Ben West GalleryWarrior's Work & Ben West Gallery in Hill City is the creation of South Dakotans Randy Berger and his wife Janna Emmel. Our gallery began as Warrior's Work, dedicated to Native American art, and then expanded to Ben West Gallery to include other contemporary artists. We are proud to know all of our artists personally. They are people we respect and enthusiastically represent. Among the many beautiful pieces of flat art showcased in the gallery, there are also sculptures in bronze, stone, glass and wood. We also offer our own distinct style of men's and women's wear. Our 'gallery wardrobe' consists of high quality leather hats and jackets. We also feature hand-painted watches and bracelets. Renters must be at least 25 years old.Beaver Lake CampgroundLocated 3.5 miles west of Custer in Black Hills National Forest, the 19-acre Beaver Lake Campground has great rates, family camping and spacious, level, shaded and open sites to suit any size RV or tent. All sites have picnic tables and fire rings, and all tent sites have rain shelters. We also offer nine cabins as well as shower and laundry facilities, free Wi-Fi at the office, heated pool, playground, horseshoe pits, volleyball and basketball courts, dog park, and more. We are open April 1-November 1 and offer discounts for extended stays.Jewel Cave National MonumentThe third-longest cave in the world features a variety of cave tours below the surface and a 1,279-acre park with nature trails above ground. With a name derived from the crystals that line its walls, Jewel Cave is even more significant as one of the longest caves in the world, with more than 208 miles of mapped and surveyed passages. Located near Custer in the southern Black Hills, this national monument also features three self-guided above-ground trails: the Roof Trail, the Canyons Trail and the Hell Canyon Trail.
