We are the only bike shop located on the Mickelson Trail. Our store in Hill City offers bicycle rentals and sales, along with shuttles, repair and accessories. We are your best resource for bicycling in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Our personal package deals can include individual service, bike rentals and shuttling as well as lodging at "the Barn." The third-longest cave in the world features a variety of cave tours below the surface and a 1,279-acre park with nature trails above ground. With a name derived from the crystals that line its walls, Jewel Cave is even more significant as one of the longest caves in the world, with more than 208 miles of mapped and surveyed passages. Located near Custer in the southern Black Hills, this national monument also features three self-guided above-ground trails: the Roof Trail, the Canyons Trail and the Hell Canyon Trail. Plus, there is a visitor center with an information desk, park store, exhibits, a theater, information about the Junior Ranger program and more.

Blue Bell is a Western-themed main lodge surrounded by 29 modernized, secluded cabins with kitchenettes, and many with stone fireplaces. There is a general store, plus chuck-wagon cookouts in the valley and hay rides. Horse trail rides and hiking trails originate from this lodge. Experience hearty ranch house dining in the dining room and lounge. We serve up true Western flavor with cattle-drive classics featuring bison, beef, chicken and fish, and even some rattlesnake sausage.

Pageant Hill in Custer is known as the spot where the annual 4th of July fireworks are displayed. But, it's a busy place the rest of the year, too. From sledding in the winter to disc golf and hiking year-round, Pageant Hill is a great spot to enjoy the outdoors. The area is mostly heavily wooded with some rocky outcroppings. The park is primitive and the disc golf course is ungroomed. There is a shelter and portable toilets, but no drinking water. For more information, contact the Custer Chamber of Commerce.

Sylvan Rocks is the Black Hills' premier rock climbing guide service since 1989. The time you spend with us is not just spent doing or watching, it is becoming part of something. We offer climbing tours at Custer State Park/the Needles, the Mount Rushmore Climbing Area, Devils Tower National Monument, and Palisades State Park (on the eastern side of South Dakota).

The Institute has been the leader in paleontological excavations and preparation since 1974, helping supply museums and collectors professionally-prepared fossils and cast replicas. From dinosaurs to mammals, reptiles to pteranodons, and crinoids to trilobites, we do it all. Located four miles south of Custer, Broken Arrow Horse Camp is a full hook-up RV park with facilities for your horses. We are in the middle of all the Black Hills attractions, plus miles and miles of trails. Come enjoy the hills with or with out your horse. We offer open-air horse barns, 40 pull-through RV sites, tent sites, five cabins, a four-room inn, outdoor kitchen, picnic pavilion, playground and general store.
