Is there anything better than ripping full speed down a go-kart track? Competition brings out the best in us. Hit your maximum fun velocity at these go-kart spots across South Dakota.

Karttrax Family Fun Park

4908 W 8th St., Yankton

Three miles west of Yankton is a place for go-karts, mini-golf, bumper cars (and boats!) and more. Karttrax Family Fun Park is open in the summer from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

Wylie Thunder Road Go-Karts and Mini-Golf

2300 24th Ave. NW, Aberdeen

Before or after you check out the magic of Storybook Land, hit the go-kart track and shoot some mini golf in Aberdeen. The park traditionally opens on May 1st each year.

Flags & Wheels Indoor Racing

405 12th St., Rapid City

This park's giant indoor track makes for year-round racing opportunities, but there are also batting cages and arcade games available for your enjoyment.

Fun Time Adventures

910 Bass Dr., Fort Pierre

In central South Dakota, Fun Time stands out as a rare oasis of go-karts plus mini golf, axe-throwing and more. Will being so close to the country's longest river inspire your shortest lap? Only a race will tell.

Thunder Road Sioux Falls

201 N Kiwanis Ave., Sioux Falls

Two go-kart tracks make this trip to South Dakota’s biggest city an adventure, as does the park’s laser tag, 18-hole mini-golf course, batting cages, climbing wall, human foosball, and more. Plus, the park's new entertainment center added bumper cars, a cutting -edge bowling system, and eight-seat 7-D theater that incorporates fog, wind and water into the viewing experience.
