Rock climbing, Palisades State Park

CLIMBING THE PALISADES

Pink quartzite towers rise directly out of Split Rock Creek in Palisades State Park providing some of the most unique rock climbing anywhere. The 50-foot vertical cliffs and spires on both sides of the creek offer a challenge to experienced climbers and also a great place for novices to learn.
