Department of Tourism Encourages Travelers to Find Their Great Place
PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Tourism has launched a social media campaign encouraging travelers to “find their great place” in South Dakota while on vacation. The campaign will use the hashtag #MyGreatPlace to document the travels of the public as they visit their favorite places across the state. To capitalize on the power of social media, the Department has partnered with four influencers to document their trips, share experiences, and highlight the uniqueness of South Dakota throughout the duration of their customized itineraries.Read More
South Dakota Department of Tourism Launches Summer Marketing Campaign
PIERRE, S.D. – The South Dakota Department of Tourism launched its 2016 summer marketing campaign in April, and all elements – from digital and social media to television and print – are in place and attracting potential visitors from the state’s key markets and across the country. The Department identified three key audiences for the summer marketing campaign: young families, young couples and bucket listers. The campaign theme will be a continuation of 2015’s “Find Your Great Place,” but each audience will be shown messaging specific to their interests within that theme.Read More
