Balloons Over Brookings

Balloons Over Brookings is a community weekend of hot air balloons, family fun, and small-town awe—presented by South Dakota Balloon Network in partnership with Pheasantland Balloons and 605 Balloon Ride. Weather-dependent events include morning balloon launches on Saturday and Sunday, evening balloon activities on Friday and Saturday, and balloon inflations (that's half the fun). The main viewing area is at the Fishback Soccer Complex on the south side of Brookings. This free event is supported by local businesses and city partnerships.
