Frontier Christmas

2025 CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER --- Celebrate the season with a historic Frontier Christmas at Fort Sisseton Historic State Park near Lake City. From 10 a.m.-4 p.m., enjoy crafts, homemade bread, hands-on activities, sleigh rides (or horse drawn wagon rides if no snow), caroling, lighting of the candles on the Christmas tree, roasted chestnuts, and more. Lunch is served 11 a.m.-2 p.m. (or until gone). A state park entrance license is required.
