Harvest Festival

Join us as we celebrate the Harvest at Fort Sisseton Historic State Park near Lake City. This year we are bringing back the Jamestown Kite Fliers. Enjoy as they fly some large, beautiful kites and then borrow a kite to try some kite flying yourself. We have pumpkin/apple slingshots and a catapult, as well as antique tractors, a garden harvest, wagon rides, speakers, games, kids crafts, music, reenactors, and more. Food Vendors will be on site, or bring your own picnic. Event hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is free, but a South Dakota Park Entrance License is required on all vehicles entering the park and can be purchased the day of the event.
