Independence Day at Mount Rushmore

Mount Rushmore National Memorial, also known as “The Shrine of Democracy,” celebrates Independence Day on July 3 and 4. The Memorial is open to the public over the holiday and offers interpretive programming, presidential reenactors, indigenous demonstrations, and performances by a U.S. military band.
