Rooted: A Prairie Arts Weekend

Rooted: A Prairie Arts Weekend is a three-day celebration of art, nature, and community. It's not just an art festival, it is a gathering built around place, story, and connection. Set in Geddes, the heart of southeast South Dakota, this event brings together artists, performers, and visitors for an experience that blends creativity with the landscape that inspires it. Join us for gallery time at Authentic Arts and a special reception for our Creative Aging class (both at 323 Main Avenue), as well as a full weekend of art, yoga and wellness in the Geddes City Park. All events are free to attend. Hosted by Authentic Arts, Rooted is for anyone who loves art, nature, and community time together.
