Fall River Hot Air Balloon Festival

Join us in Hot Springs in the southern Black Hills for three days of fun. Balloon launches are scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday, about 6 a.m., from the Hot Springs Municipal Airport. Events begin on Friday at noon and there are activities throughout downtown including a vendors market, magic show, balloon animals, face painters and live music at 5 p.m. Saturday features a kids parade, vendors market, chalk art contest, sidewalk sales, and special events at local businesses. Saturday evening, a “Light Up Downtown” night glow will be held at Centennial Park and the State Veterans Home from 7:30-9 p.m. Events are dependent on weather. Admission to events is free.
