Valley View Retreat

We are your basecamp in the southern Black Hills. Located northwest of Hot Springs, Valley View Retreat offers quiet RV and tent camping, scenic valley views, beautiful sunrises and sunsets, and a beautiful night sky. We have five spacious, well-spaced pull-in sites — each with a fire pit, a picnic table, and a wide-open view. The sites are graveled for rigs in the 30–46-foot range, with room to expand for trailers up to ~60 feet. This is dry camping and there are no power or sewer hookups yet — full hookups are coming soon. We also offer four tent camping areas and a solar-powered mini clubhouse which has high-speed Starlink and a place to charge your laptop and tablet. You can also grab a drink, a snack, or some chips from the self-serve station. There are a few goats and chickens to say hello to, and a hiking trail right out your door. If the hens are laying, you might score a fresh egg with your morning coffee.
