Pete Lien & Sons Shooting Sports Complex

Organized in two separate areas (north and south), the Pete Lien & Sons Shooting Sports Complex offers a wide variety of options for all levels. There is room for beginners and experts to shoot side by side, with facilities for education, outreach, and shooting competitions. This is a facility of the South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks and is located in Piedmont, just northwest of Rapid City. General use areas are free and open to the public, including 50-, 100-, and 300-yard bays, and the archery range. Hours of operation are 8:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m., May through August, and 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m., September through April. We are open seven days a week (closed on some holidays).
