Black Hills Visitor Information Center

We are located on Interstate 90 at exit 61 on the eastern edge of Rapid City. The Black Hills Visitor Information Center is your one-stop-shop for planning your Black Hills and Badlands adventure. We offer a wide variety of resources and information to help you get the most out of your trip, including free travel guides, maps, and brochures. The friendly and knowledgeable staff can provide personalized recommendations based on your interests and needs. They can also help with trip planning, itinerary creation, and reservation assistance. Our Gift Shop features a diverse selection of souvenirs and gifts to commemorate your vacation, including locally made South Dakota products. We are open year-round and our hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m., seven days a week.
