Levitt at the Falls 2025: Johnny Wheels & The Swamp Donkeys
Johnny “Wheels” Kennicott had music in his blood since birth, but expressing himself musically took on new importance when Johnny broke his neck in a childhood accident, leaving him paralyzed from the chest down. Johnny found he could manipulate his paralyzed diaphragm to not only sing, but also blow the harmonica. On Saturday, July 26, Johnny and the award-winning Swamp Donkeys take to the Levitt stage in Sioux Falls. This free concert is one of 50 being held at the state-of-the-art Levitt Shell in Falls Park West. During 2025, the free concerts run May 23 through August 30, usually on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Levitt at the Falls has open, raked-lawn seating (on a first-come, first-served basis). Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. The lawn opens at 6:30 p.m. (food trucks/drink vendors also open) and music starts at 7 p.m.
