Medicine Creek Pheasant Ranch

Homesteaded by Oscar and Emma Authier in 1914, Medicine Creek Pheasant Ranch is located high on a hill east of Vivian in central South Dakota. The Authier Ranch has transformed into a world-class pheasant hunting operation since 1986, when we first offered commercial hunts. In addition to our own land, we reserve hunting rights on over 7,000 acres, increasing our total hunting area to nearly 10,000 acres of farm and ranch land. We have five lodges with all hunters lodged and fed on site. We offer one day hunts to multiple day hunts, and we provide guides and dogs. We have a trap shooting facility and sport shop on site. We clean and package your birds. We can also provide grouse hunting, as well as goose hunting and prairie dog hunting within an hour’s drive.
