Davina & The Vagabonds bring high-energy vintage music into the modern spotlight, blending jazz, and soul with a flair that feels timeless and fiercely alive. Led by vocalist and pianist Davina Sowers, the band has become known for their dynamic performances. On Thursday, June 4, Davina & The Vagabonds take to the Levitt stage in Sioux Falls. This free concert is one of 50 being held at the state-of-the-art Levitt Shell in Falls Park West. During 2026, the free concerts run June 4 through September 12, usually on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Levitt at the Falls has open, raked-lawn seating (on a first-come, first-served basis). Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. The lawn opens at 6:30 p.m. (food trucks/drink vendors also open) and music starts at 7 p.m.

Levitt at the Falls 2026: Davina & The Vagabonds

Four days. Three shows. Thousands of wheels. Held in Huron at the South Dakota State Fairgrounds, Wheel Jam consists of three major shows: a car show, a motorcycle show and a semi/truck show. Other events include live entertainment, dynamic engine brake competition, semi light show, car and motorcycle show n’ shine, audio sound competition, burn out pit, poker run, stock car races, mobile dyno service and more. The AmphiThursday Summer Concert Series is every Thursday evening throughout the summer at the Parkston Amphitheater. Bring a chair but leave your cooler at home. Food trucks, cold beer, and live music are provided. All concerts are 100% free but we do take a free will donation at each live event. The 2026 dates are May 21 and 28; June 4, 11, 18 and 25; July 9, 16, 23 and 30, and August 6 (no concert July 2). See our website or Facebook for more details, including opening acts and headliners.

AmphiThursday Summer Concert Series

Summer Nights is a weekly concert series that runs every Thursday evening from late May through late August. This free event occurs every Thursday during the summer from 6-9 p.m. in the heart of downtown Rapid City. Along with a different band each week, there are adult beverages, Coke products, and water for purchase along with a variety of vendors selling food, drink, and special treats at affordable prices. Join Us for a great night of music, food, and beverages!

Carolyn Wonderland, with her dynamic guitar playing, formidable songwriting, and pure Texas vocals, has more than earned her reputation as a fiercely independent artist. Wonderland plays original, bluesified, cosmic soul music, mixed with heavy doses of Tex-Mex and riff-fueled rock ‘n’ roll. On Friday, June 5, Carolyn performs on the Levitt stage in Sioux Falls. This free concert is one of 50 being held at the state-of-the-art Levitt Shell in Falls Park West. Levitt at the Falls 2026: Carolyn Wonderland

1st Fridays on Main in Mitchell is held the first Friday of each month, 5-9 p.m., May through September (May 1, June 5, July 3, August 6, and September 4, 2026). Event goers will enjoy live music, food trucks, vendors, activities and games for both adults and children. This free event is held around the Corn Palace Plaza in downtown Mitchell, corner of 6th Avenue & Main Street. (August 6 is a Thursday and is the Palace City Pre-Sturgis Party. Hours are 5-10 p.m.)

1st Fridays on Main - June

Ben Gundersheimer (MISTER G) and Kat Jamieson (MISSUS G) perform their Latin GRAMMY Award-winning bilingual music at major venues and festivals around the world. These dynamic, interactive performances aim to dissolve borders and foster cross-cultural connections through the power of story and song. On Saturday morning, June 6, MISTER G takes to the Levitt stage in Sioux Falls. This free concert is one of 50 being held at the state-of-the-art Levitt Shell in Falls Park West. During 2026, the free concerts run June 4 through September 12, usually on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Levitt at the Falls has open, raked-lawn seating (on a first-come, first-served basis). Blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. Saturday morning activities and concessions begin at 10 a.m., with music starting at 10:30 a.m. Family performance typically last 45-60 minutes.

Slapbak is a high-energy funk band influenced by hip-hop and rock/alternative styles. The band’s leader, Jara Harris, founded Slapbak in the 1990s and has been producing its music ever since. On Saturday, June 6, Jara and the band hits the Levitt stage in Sioux Falls. This free concert is one of 50 being held at the state-of-the-art Levitt Shell in Falls Park West. With a captivating vintage voice and a magnetic stage presence, Caro Pierotto transcends musical boundaries through a rich repertoire of samba, forró, reggae, soul, pop, and bossa nova. Based in Los Angeles, Caro performs both beloved classics and original music in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, accompanied by her acclaimed all-star Brazilian band. On Thursday, June 11, Carolyn brings her warmth and joy to the Levitt stage in Sioux Falls. This free concert is one of 50 being held at the state-of-the-art Levitt Shell in Falls Park West.
