Welcome to Black Hills Escape Rooms. Real life escape games based on historical characters, locations and events from the Black Hills of South Dakota. Jump back in time into the rich history of the Black Hills with our four, historically-based scenarios that offer heart racing and addictive fun for players of all ages. Take the challenge and escape the room in 60 minutes, if you can.

Never thrown and axe or a hatchet before? No problem! Our "Axperts" at JJ's Axes & Ales in Sioux Falls will teach you what you need to know and guide you while you learn the art of axe throwing. Each throwing session includes lessons on technique, rules and safety. You will then be coached along through your experience while you gain confidence. We also sell beer, wine and other beverages (no liquor), but axe throwers will be limited to one beverage per hour prior to throwing. (Ages 14 and up are welcome with direct parental supervision.) Our hours are 4-10 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday; 2-10 p.m., Friday; 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Saturday; and 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday.

Karttrax Family Fun Park is a family-owned and operated five-acre, 18-hole mini-golf facility that has been providing fun to the Yankton area since 1986. We strive to provide family entertainment in a Christian-based atmosphere for the purpose of strengthening family unity. We are open seasonally and weather permitting. Escape 605 opened a second escape room location at the Empire Mall in Sioux Falls. You can experience this 60-minute world-wide phenomena. It presents you with the challenge of immersing yourself and your teammates into cleverly themed rooms armed only with your wits and the collaboration of your teammates to solve all of the clues in just 60 minutes and...ESCAPE. We are open 5-11 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m.-11 p.m., Friday through Sunday. Reservations are required and can be made online (if there are no reservations, we are not open).

Union Social is the ultimate entertainment spot with bowling, axe throwing, an arcade, and a full-service restaurant, perfect for family fun, a friends’ nights out, and unforgettable gatherings. Located just south of Sioux Falls in Harrisburg, you can find us next to Air Madness, our sister property. We're a great place for kids' parties and adults' parties. Enjoy free mini golf at Black Hills Putt-4-Fun (on-site) with any room rental at the Hills Inn in Hot Springs. We offer at-door parking, 40-inch flat screen TVs, comfy new beds, an outdoor heated pool, guest laundry, free continental breakfast, and free Wi-Fi for guests, plus in-room coffee makers, refrigerators and microwaves. The Hills Inn has been family-owned and operated since 1995.

Escapades takes escape games to the next level. All our rooms are 100% original with a focus on constructing puzzles to facilitate team building and get your mind going. We have three rooms in total and a fourth on the way. We are located in Sioux Falls on the corner of 41st Street and Western Avenue. You are not able to reserve a time slot without going through the booking process and payment is due at the the time of booking. Our open hours are 8 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11:30 a.m.-8:30 p.m., Sunday.

Our Escape 605 location in downtown Sioux Falls has a lot to offer thanks to a slew of social games and plenty of drinks and snacks to keep you satisfied between axe throwing. From giant Jenga and beer pong to our hook game and giant Connect Four, the variety of social games will keep your party going and give every visitor something to love. We offer a selection of wine and beer, including a wide variety of draft and bottled beers to whet your palate, along with soft drinks. There is a full menu of tasty snacks, including pizza and popcorn. Our downtown hours are 4:30-10 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 3 p.m.-12 a.m., Friday; 10 a.m.-12 a.m., Saturday; and 12-10 p.m., Sunday. (Downtown welcomes walk-ins and is reservation-friendly.)
