Granite Sports is the oldest outdoor specialty store in the Black Hills. Our shop in Hill City carries gear and clothing for rock climbers, hikers, backpackers and campers. The Granite Sports team includes avid outdoor enthusiasts and climbing professionals who test and wear our products. We also carry a wide variety of tasteful, well-made casual clothing and footwear for everyday life. We welcome you to come in, check out our merchandise, or just hang out. The 71,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art Spearfish Rec & Aquatics Center (SRAC) opened in 2008, having been transformed from a box store to a recreation and community center. Today it is a place where you can find community, youth and family events, fitness and fun. Parties, meetings, family gatherings, school programs, PE classes, sports practices, roller skating, pool parties, leagues, tournaments, community events, holiday events…the list goes on. SRAC is a place where fun and fitness happen. Part of the facility is a two-acre outdoor water park that is open from late May (Memorial Day) through early September (Labor Day). A popular campsite for the Arikara and Mandan people in the past, West Whitlock now draws modern-day campers and fishermen to its shores. When the area became a park, it was named for Mrs. J.F. Whitlock, whose pioneering family once owned the land. Whitlock Crossing was the name given to a small settlement that operated a ferry across the river near the area.

The Holy Terror Mini Golf course is nestled on the side of a pine-covered slope in Keystone. Named after the last active gold mine in Keystone, the course will have you “screamin’ mulligans” as you putt around gold-flecked boulders, up steep hills, down through the mine sluice and around the waterwheel and bubbling stream. The 18 holes meander more than 50 feet up a steep hillside and back down. From August 17-September 30, 2020, we are open 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. Find us next to the National Presidential Wax Museum.

Sylvan Rocks is the Black Hills' premier rock climbing guide service since 1989. The time you spend with us is not just spent doing or watching, it is becoming part of something. The goal of our experienced staff is to get you on the rocks climbing at your level and making memories that will last a lifetime. We offer climbing tours at Custer State Park/the Needles, the Mount Rushmore Climbing Area, Devils Tower National Monument, and Palisades State Park (on the eastern side of South Dakota).

At Legends in Watertown, we are dedicated to creating a family-friendly haven where guests can revel in a variety of games and activities. Our campus is designed to foster a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Come enjoy outdoor mini golf and go-kart racing along with our indoor arcade, mini bowling, South Dakota State University ice cream, pizza, and other food and beverage items. Located just south of Sioux Falls in Harrisburg, you can find us next to Air Madness, our sister property. We're a great place for kids' parties and adults' parties. The Deadwood Comfort Inn & Suites in Historic Deadwood offers 69 newly-upgraded rooms and deluxe suites. Amenities include a cocktail lounge, snack bar, video lottery, gift shop, indoor heated pool, hot tub, exercise room, guest laundry, spacious parking, an arcade and an 18-hole mini golf course.
