Welcome to Black Hills Escape Rooms. Real life escape games based on historical characters, locations and events from the Black Hills of South Dakota. Jump back in time into the rich history of the Black Hills with our four, historically-based scenarios that offer heart racing and addictive fun for players of all ages. Take the challenge and escape the room in 60 minutes, if you can.

Wylie Thunder Road in Aberdeen is packed full of outdoor fun for all ages. Located in Wylie Park and next to Storybook Land, our attraction features single and double go-karts, mini-golf, Euro Bungy trampolines, bumper boats, and the Laser Maze Challenge. Thunder Road is open early May to mid-September. Summer hours of operation are 12 noon-10 p.m. daily. Group rates and private parties are available by reservation.

Our Escape 605 location in downtown Sioux Falls has a lot to offer thanks to a slew of social games and plenty of drinks and snacks to keep you satisfied between axe throwing. From giant Jenga and beer pong to our hook game and giant Connect Four, the variety of social games will keep your party going and give every visitor something to love. We offer a selection of wine and beer, including a wide variety of draft and bottled beers to whet your palate, along with soft drinks. There is a full menu of tasty snacks, including pizza and popcorn. Our downtown hours are 4:30-10 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 3 p.m.-12 a.m., Friday; 10 a.m.-12 a.m., Saturday; and 12-10 p.m., Sunday. (Downtown welcomes walk-ins and is reservation-friendly.)

Stay, play and relax in our gaming lounge with more than 60 custom gaming PCs, PS3s and Xbox 360s. Or, take it to the extreme and enter the indoor laser combat arena. We host birthday parties, bachelor parties, casual gaming and other private/public events, such as youth group activities, student activities, corporate team-building events and more. You can experience this 60-minute world-wide phenomena. Escape 605 is the first live escape game in Sioux Falls. It presents you with the challenge of immersing yourself and your teammates into cleverly themed rooms armed only with your wits and the collaboration of your teammates to solve all of the clues in just 60 minutes and...ESCAPE. We have also added axe throwing lanes. We are open 5-11 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m.-11 p.m., Friday through Sunday. Reservations are required and can be made online (if there are no reservations, we are not open).

The Deadwood Comfort Inn & Suites in Historic Deadwood offers 69 newly-upgraded rooms and deluxe suites. Amenities include a cocktail lounge, snack bar, video lottery, gift shop, indoor heated pool, hot tub, exercise room, guest laundry, spacious parking, an arcade and an 18-hole mini golf course. Hot complimentary continental breakfast is available. The Deadwood Comfort Inn is a great place for adults and families to stay and play, come check us out. The Deadwood Trolley is available. We also have meeting and convention space on-site. Pets are not allowed.

The Holy Terror Mini Golf course is nestled on the side of a pine-covered slope in Keystone. Named after the last active gold mine in Keystone, the course will have you “screamin’ mulligans” as you putt around gold-flecked boulders, up steep hills, down through the mine sluice and around the waterwheel and bubbling stream. The 18 holes meander more than 50 feet up a steep hillside and back down. From August 17-September 30, 2020, we are open 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:30 a.m.-8 p.m., Saturday and Sunday. Find us next to the National Presidential Wax Museum.
