Located downtown Custer, the Begging Burro is a Mexican Bistro that is known for some of the best Mexican food in the Black Hills. The kitchen whips up authentic Mexican food from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m., Sunday through Saturday.

Wild Spruce Market in downtown Custer is excited to provide a Black Hills source for specialty food, local produce & products, gluten-free & dairy-free choices, vegan & vegetarian options, and a mouth-watering selection of local grass-fed beef, bison, elk, chicken, and pork products. We also carry an assortment of natural health & beauty products...and we can't forget to mention our kombucha, wine, & beer bar - full of local taps and offering a place to relax. We have rotating local beer taps, an ever-changing kombucha on tap that is made just down the road in Rapid City, and a selection of house wines that can all be enjoyed at the bar or on our cozy patio. Our hours are 9:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday.

Bumpin’ Buffalo Bar and Grill is located in Hill City, in the Heart of the Black Hills, only moments away from Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Mountain and Custer State Park. We are well known for our Bumpin’ Buffalo Burger and our famous Chislic. Come bump, beer and wine with us. We are open 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday, Friday and Saturday; 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; and 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday. (Hours change seasonally.)

Blue Bell is a Western-themed main lodge surrounded by 29 modernized, secluded cabins with kitchenettes, and many with stone fireplaces. There is a general store, plus chuck-wagon cookouts in the valley and hay rides. Horse trail rides and hiking trails originate from this lodge. Experience hearty ranch house dining in the dining room and lounge. We serve up true Western flavor with cattle-drive classics featuring bison, beef, chicken and fish, and even some rattlesnake sausage.

The Sick-N-Twisted Brewery in Hill City was founded in 2012 and has been providing specialty beers to patrons ever since. We select local ingredients for our unique beers that are brewed in house; we currently have over a dozen beers on tap. We have a beer wall so you can pick your own six pack from more than 100 beers. We are also home to Naughti Wines, and we’ve taken the pecksniffery out of wine tasting. Drink what you like the way you like it. Join us and relax on our patio with your friends or sit by the fire and indulge in some twisted fun! We also serve stone-baked pizza, gourmet sandwiches, smoked wings, meat & cheese platters and more. Our hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Thursday-Saturday, and 11 a.m.-6 p.m., Sunday. Sage Creek Grille in Custer has long supported the local food movement when possible and strives to know the sourcing of the food it prepares fresh daily. We source our buffalo from West River, the seafood is wild and, when the herbs are growing, we use them fresh. The menu changes with the seasons and with the different talent that arrives each year to prepare the food we serve. Join us for lunch 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, or dinner 5-8 p.m., Tuesday through Saturday.

We are a family-owned pizza restaurant located in the beautiful Black Hills in Custer, South Dakota. Our menu includes: pizza, sandwiches, flatbreads and salads, as well as appetizers. Fountain soda and beer are also available. We have outdoor seating for those nice summer and fall days/evenings. We are open seven days a week, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

The Purple Pie Place in Custer is a fixture for the summer and fall, offering the best homemade pies in the Black Hills. They serve hundreds of slices of pie a week. The homemade delights are also available in a take-home whole-pie version. It's not just pies that they serve, they also have fresh sandwiches, paninis, salads, soups, ice cream and a kids menu. The pie and ice cream parlor is open 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Sunday through Saturday. (Closed during the winter months.)
