Blue Bell is a Western-themed main lodge surrounded by 29 modernized, secluded cabins with kitchenettes, and many with stone fireplaces. There is a general store, plus chuck-wagon cookouts in the valley and hay rides. Horse trail rides and hiking trails originate from this lodge. Experience hearty ranch house dining in the dining room and lounge. We serve up true Western flavor with cattle-drive classics featuring bison, beef, chicken and fish, and even some rattlesnake sausage.

We are a family-owned pizza restaurant located in the beautiful Black Hills in Custer, South Dakota. Our menu includes: pizza, sandwiches, flatbreads and salads, as well as appetizers. Fountain soda and beer are also available. We have outdoor seating for those nice summer and fall days/evenings. We are open seven days a week, 11 a.m.-8 p.m.

Located in Custer in the southern Black Hills, Hjem A.M. serves breakfast in a space that feels like home. Erik and Camillia opened Hjem A.M. in 2022 with one goal in mind: bring amazing breakfast food to the Black Hills. The food’s focus is seasonality and is inspired by Scandinavian/American flavors. “Hjem” means home in Danish. Camillia and Erik found their home in Custer and want to be your home in the morning. Hours are 8 a.m.-12 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Take-out is available and so are online reservations.

Two Cows Creamery is located in the southern Black Hills in the town of Hot Springs. We source our milk and cream directly from Stensland Family Farms, where our proprietary formula is followed to make our super premium Two Cows base ice cream mix. The ingredients are simple – cream, milk, organic sugar and a natural food stabilizer. When making our flavors, we do not use artificial flavors or colors; everything you eat is wholesome real food. We offer handcrafted ice cream, gelato and sorbet, as well as soups, sandwiches, burgers, pot pie, quiche and salads. The Custer Beacon is a restaurant, lounge and live music venue in Custer. We are committed to providing the southern Black Hills with a beautiful space to play, eat and be together. Our hours are Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

Legion Lake Lodge sits directly on the water's edge and features 26 cabins nestled in the surrounding forest (some with kitchens). The Centennial Trail is easily accessible. There is a convenience store to purchase fishing licenses and supplies, a playground, swimming and a hiking trail surrounds the lake. There is nothing fussy about eating at Legion Lake. Our menu features homestyle recipes like burgers and fries and homemade apple pie that you can enjoy on the deck, if the weather is nice.
