No Wall journey is complete without a stroll through Wall Drug Store. This small-town pharmacy turned sprawling tourist emporium sells Badlands and Mount Rushmore souvenirs, jackalope-themed merchandise, Western apparel, Native-inspired jewelry and iconic “Where the Heck is Wall Drug?” trinkets.

Head to Badlands National Park, Just 7 Miles Away

Badlands National Park lies just a short drive from Wall. The Pinnacles Entrance of the park is approximately 7 miles directly south of Wall via Highway 240, making for a convenient day trip. The Northeast Entrance, closer to the Ben Reifel Visitor Center, is about a 25-mile drive east and then south of Wall, taking around 30 to 40 scenic minutes. Don’t miss the wildlife viewing, Badlands Loop Scenic Byway or hiking. Come back at night for fabulous night sky viewing and programming.

It’s the only visitor center dedicated to interpreting the entire network of 20 national grasslands (spanning 12 states) managed by the U.S. Forest Service. View Cold War-era artifacts and interpretive exhibits at the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site. Events in Wall

• Wheelin’ to Wall hosts road cyclists to ride through the Badlands and enjoy local hospitality. The fall cycling event offers a choice of six rides: pavement 31 miles, pavement 38 miles, gravel 35 miles and gravel 64 miles, plus pavement 28 miles and gravel 33 miles.
• The Wall Celebration is a three-day community celebration in July filled with activities including "Broncs, Burgers, and Beers," a cornhole tournament, a stick horse rodeo and live bands.
