Dinosaur Museum

The Dinosaur Museum is located between Reptile Gardens and Rushmore Candy Co. on the southern edge of Rapid City. Inside, you will see more than 98 ancient reptiles, learn more in our educational movie theatre, make your way through our mirror maze, and even try your hand at digging for fossils. While most museums only display fossils and skeleton replicas, our dinosaurs show you what dinosaurs looked like when they were alive. While here, try your hand at our mini golf course. We are open daily May through August and with reduced hours September until mid-December and March until May. We are closed December 20 through March 15.
