Mountain West Beer Fest is held each November in the Rushmore Hall inside The Monument near downtown Rapid City. Spend the day with industry experts and sampling the fares produced by 80+ craft breweries from around the area. There will be 200+ beers, seltzers and NA drinks, plus food trucks and bar games. The Annual North Country Fiber Fair will be held at the Codington County Extension Complex in Watertown. Visit the website for class and vendor information as well as a complete schedule. Vendor hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday. There are free demonstrations and classes held throughout the event, as well as a fiber animal barn. Explore the world of fiber, spinning, weaving, knitting and crochet. Admission and parking are free.Northern Hills Community Band Concert
Break out the red, white, and blue for the Northern Hills Community Band concert in Deadwood. Enjoy live patriotic music and marches, as well as world-famous show tunes on the Historic Adams House lawn from 7-8 p.m. Admission is by donation. Locals vie for top honors in a Best Decorated Potato Contest. Past winners included an astronaut, farmer, race cars, and tooth.
