Interior Frontier Days Rodeo
Nestled in the Badlands of South Dakota in the tiny town of Interior, with a population of just over 60 and located just south of the National Park surrounded by prairie and ranches for miles, the sounds of cheering spectators can be heard near and far as some of the best cowboys and cowgirls on the pro rodeo circuit take part in South Dakota's oldest rodeo, the Interior Frontier Days Rodeo. The PRCA Rodeo performance takes place at 5 p.m. on Saturday and a Ranch Rodeo performance is held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, both at the Interior Rodeo Grounds. Tickets may be purchased online. Junkin’ Market Days is a two-day, indoor market in Sioux Falls that is filled with repurposed, rustic, shabby chic, farmhouse, vintage & one-of-a-kind finds. Vendors from all over the state of South Dakota and beyond bring in the coolest pieces to the Exhibit Hall at the Ramkota Convention Center. The KELOLAND Living Arts & Crafts Show will take place at the Ramkota Exhibit Hall & Annex in Sioux Falls, October 17-18, 2025. Hours are 12-7:30 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is $5 for adults and kids 12 and younger get in free.Northern Fort Playhouse
The Northern Fort Playhouse is a summer repertory stock company that delights regional audiences with performances in the historic south barracks building of Fort Sisseton Historic State Park, southwest of Lake City. Northern State University students lend their talents to every production. Two shows will be performed during the 2025 season: Vanities a New Musical and You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown. Performance dates are July 11-13, 18-20 and 25-26. All of our Friday evening performances feature a free will donation social hour. There are dinner theatre performances and Sunday luncheon performances. State park entrance license fee is covered by Northern Fort Playhouse. The Rock The Country music festival - A Festival For We The People - will be coming to Sioux Falls, July 18-19, as the major country festival makes its official road trip across America. Sioux Falls will mark the eighth stop of summer 2025. We bring together the best of both worlds in uniting the country legend, Kid Rock, and the ultimate rockstars, Nickelback. With the country and rock genres joining forces, Rock The Country will be rocking the country all summer long. The lineup for Sioux Falls will feature powerhouse artists, including country legends Travis Tritt and Tracy Lawrence, Gavin Adcock, Aaron Lewis and The Stateliners, Shenandoah, Mark Chesnutt, Deana Carter, Little Texas, Hudson Westbrook, Them Dirty Roses, Afroman, and the Ying Yang Twins. The legacy of professional baseball in Sioux Falls dates back to 1902. The current Sioux Falls Canaries team, as it is known today, began playing in 1993 and has been a staple of entertainment for families and baseball fans alike. Since their inception, the Canaries have made their home at The Birdcage. This historic ballpark combines the classic charm of its original design with modern updates, including renovations in the late 1990s and a more recent upgrade in 2022. The Canaries' 2025 home game season runs May 13 through September 1. The full schedule can be found online, and tickets may be purchased online or at the gate. The Sioux Falls Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and Miracle 5K on a Sunday in September. Join runners from across the nation on a journey through Downtown Sioux Falls and Falls Park, along one of the nation's finest bike trails, and through the historic district. The Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K start and finish inside the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. The Miracle 5K finishes inside the PREMIER Center, but starts outside on Western Avenue. There will be entertainment along the race route and lots of spectators cheering on the runners.Sizzlin' Summer Nights
