Former employees and patrons of the casino have claimed to hear the sound of heavy boots in the upstairs hallway and have seen shadow figures peering from around doorways. Tours are held nightly, they meet in front of the Deadwood Welcome Center, and last one hour across a one-mile walking distance.

The Charles Murtha House is a two-story, triple-walled brick house completed in 1892 for Charles Murtha, a pioneer of Union County and an early City Officer for the City of Elk Point. In 2013 the house and property was purchased by the Union County Historical Society. It houses a vast collection of historical acquisitions from throughout Union County and southeastern South Dakota. Museum hours are by appointment and may be scheduled in advance by phone.

Red Truck Alpaca Farm is a small, family-owned alpaca farm since 2022. Located southeast of Brandon, our farm consists of 21 adorable alpacas and we encourage you to come out and visit the farm to meet them. Visitors can learn about raising alpacas and stop by our farm store to see our various alpaca products. Follow us on our social platforms to keep up-to-date with our events. You are welcome to bring a blanket and enjoy a picnic. We have concessions and fresh baked cookies in our farm store. Our hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday; and 12-5 p.m., Sunday; and by appointment on weekdays.

The Rushmore View RV Park and Campground is located adjacent to the Magnuson Grand Rushmore View hotel in Keystone. A view of Mount Rushmore is available from the main parking lot and check-in area. It is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and attractions. This seasonal RV park offers full-service, pull-through or back-in, shaded sites along Grizzly Creek.
