Big Rig RV Park Campground is one of the oldest campgrounds for the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. We are located in Sturgis and are open exclusively for the Rally. The campground is perched on top of a hill and has spectacular views of Sturgis and the Black Hills area. We are two miles from Sturgis Main Street. Our campsites feature full service hook-ups including water, sewer, 30/50 amp electricity, and Wi-Fi. Both of our campgrounds include clean showers and restrooms.
Located on Douglas Street in Yankton, Big River Burrito combines menu features of an authentic Mexican-American restaurant with a unique quick service environment. We are a "build your own" burrito, bowl, taco and quesadilla fast casual restaurant. We also offer take 'n bake options. Our hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
Big Sioux Power Sports is just across the parking lot from J&L Harley-Davidson in Sioux Falls, and is also owned by the Entenman family. While Big Sioux Power Sports is not affiliated with the Harley-Davidson stores, customers can expect the same level of fun, excitement, customer service and community involvement they enjoy from the J&L and Glacial Lakes stores. You'll find everything for your on and off road needs, including new and pre-owned motorcycles, ATVs and snowmobiles.
Located on the eastern edge of South Dakota, the Big Sioux Recreation Area lies on the banks of the Big Sioux River. Close to the cities of Brandon and Sioux Falls, Big Sioux is popular among campers, canoers, bicyclists, hikers, disc golfers, history buffs and archers. When the snow flies, groups of snowmobilers gather at the enclosed warming house. There are 49 campsites and three cabins. Games, fishing poles and snowshoes can be checked out for day use.
The Big Sky Lodge is located one mile from downtown Rapid City. It sits on Skyline Drive and offers amazing views of the Black Hills. Rooms are non-smoking and feature a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, Wi-Fi and an outside entrance. A two-room suite and a full-kitchen suite are also available. Amenities include laundry facilities and a seasonal outdoor hot tub. Complimentary continental breakfast is available from the end of May through the end of September. The property is pet-friendly.
An 1823 expedition led by Major Stephan Long and geologist William Keating explored the Big Stone Lake region. Shortly after entering present-day South Dakota, they met an American Indian village on a rocky island (Big Island). This island, also known as Kite Island, is now the 100-acre nature area. It is a natural refuge for a variety of birds and wildlife, and is accessible only by boat, canoe or kayak.
At Big Stone Pumpkin Patch near Big Stone City, we offer pick-your-own pumpkins, plus pre-picked pumpkins of all sizes, gourds, specialty pumpkins, Indian Corn, straw bales and corn shocks. We also have hayrides, a corn maze, a jumping pillow, a corn dig, climbing bales and barrel train rides. Our barn is available for weddings and private events. The Pumpkin Patch is open late September through October, and our hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
Big Thunder Gold Mine (originally named Gold Hill Lode) was discovered in 1892 by two German immigrant miners. Today, it contains the most types of rocks, structures and minerals indigenous to the area, and it offers mine tours, a mining museum and gold panning. There is also a full-service eatery and a gift shop. Located in Keystone, we are open daily, April through October (see our hours online). We are open by reservation only, November through March.
Located in Hot Springs, the Big Time Pizza and Coffee Hub menu features excellent pizza and subs at reasonable prices. Owners Robert and Mary Davis say their secret is that they only use the finest ingredients in their pizzas and subs and everything is handmade to order.
