The
Dahl Arts Center, located in Downtown Rapid City, is a community-owned art
space, offering a variety of attractions. It features five curated art
galleries, a hands-on Art Studio designed for families, and the Dahl Artists'
Market, where art crafted by local and regional artists is available for
purchase. Managed by the Rapid City Arts Council, The Dahl is a community space
that hosts all kinds of arts and culture events. It also provides art education
programs for both youth and adults, along with open pottery and art studios,
offering people a welcoming space to unleash their creativity. The Dahl is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Entry to the
galleries is always free, with donations warmly welcomed.
Karttrax Family Fun Park is a family-owned and operated five-acre, 18-hole mini-golf facility that has been providing fun to the Yankton area since 1986. We strive to provide family entertainment in a Christian-based atmosphere for the purpose of strengthening family unity. We are open seasonally and weather permitting. Located just blocks from the state capitol in Pierre, Pure Bliss serves breakfast treats and two daily lunch specials four days a week. Our hours are 9 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday through Friday. The first cave to be designated a national park, Wind Cave features the world's largest concentration of rare boxwork formations below ground and a 33,970-acre wildlife sanctuary on the surface. The cave is one of the longest and most complex caves in the world. Located in the southern Black Hills near Hot Springs, the park is home to bison, elk, and other wildlife that roam the rolling prairie grasslands and forested hillsides. Activities include hiking, bird watching, wildlife viewing, backcountry camping, Junior Ranger programs, and cave tours. Tour tickets may be purchased online in advance.
WoodGrain Brewing Company is a local microbrewery specializing in quality handmade beers. Each beer is meticulously hand-crafted using the freshest ingredients, featuring local ingredients whenever possible. We provide a fun, relaxing atmosphere where friends can come to unwind, enjoy themselves and taste some of the finest homegrown libations South Dakota has to offer. Our food menu features sausages from Dakota Craft Links, including a Chicago-style dog, chili cheese dog and Polish sausage, plus appetizers such as chips and salad, beer cheese nachos, pretzels with cheese and egg rolls with homemade sauces. We are open daily and our hours are 3-10 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 11 a.m.-11 p.m., Friday and Saturday; and 12-8 p.m., Sunday. The Rushmore View RV Park and Campground is located adjacent to the Magnuson Grand Rushmore View hotel in Keystone. A view of Mount Rushmore is available from the main parking lot and check-in area. It is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and attractions. This seasonal RV park offers full-service, pull-through or back-in, shaded sites along Grizzly Creek. Amenities include a shower house and guest laundry. It is a pet-friendly property.
