At Fly Badlands, we offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity for locals and travelers alike to witness the breathtaking beauty of the Badlands from an entirely new perspective—high above it all. Our immersive, narrated air tours bring the region to life, blending captivating stories of its rich cultural roots, dramatic geological formations, fossil beds, and vibrant natural history. We are based out of the Wall Municipal Airport, located just northwest of Wall. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are preferred. Our operating hours are sunrise to sunset, seven days per week (Sunday through Saturday), with 30-minute, 60-minute and customizable flights available. The Charles Murtha House is a two-story, triple-walled brick house completed in 1892 for Charles Murtha, a pioneer of Union County and an early City Officer for the City of Elk Point. In 2013 the house and property was purchased by the Union County Historical Society. It houses a vast collection of historical acquisitions from throughout Union County and southeastern South Dakota.
