After years of work trying to rebuild the comedy scene in the Black Hills, West River Comedy was started by local comedian (if you can call him that) Trevor Ryan. Trevor and WRC have been hosting and performing Stand-Up comedy in Rapid City and all over the Black Hills since 2019. In January 2025, we opened our comedy club in downtown Rapid City. We have open mic nights, experienced local comedians, and also headlining comics from around the country. There are beer, wine, seltzer and other bar options for our guests who must be over 21. Our hours of operation are 5-10 p.m., Wednesday and Sunday, and 5 p.m.-12 a.m., Thursday through Saturday.
Located in downtown Brookings, the Antique Gallery Mall is a multi-dealer antique mall with quality antiques and a friendly atmosphere. You'll find two levels for reminiscing and treasure hunting, an awesome variety of depression and elegant glassware, primitives, farm, furniture, vintage clothes, comic books, books, jewelry, Victorian, mid-century, re-purposing, and more. We are open 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
The downtown Brookings Cottonwood Coffee was the original coffeehouse, built in 2006. Since then, we have served exceptional coffee and managed to become an integral part of the surrounding community. Staffed by knowledgeable and friendly baristas, you can find anything here from a handcrafted shot of espresso (roasted in the same building) to real fruit smoothies. From-scratch baked goods are brought in daily and the lunch and dinner menus boast a wide variety of sandwiches, soups and other fresh, delicious options. We are open seven days per week and our hours are 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Sunday through Saturday.
The Rushmore View RV Park and Campground is located adjacent to the Magnuson Grand Rushmore View hotel in Keystone. A view of Mount Rushmore is available from the main parking lot and check-in area. It is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and attractions. This seasonal RV park offers full-service, pull-through or back-in, shaded sites along Grizzly Creek. Amenities include a shower house and guest laundry. It is a pet-friendly property.
