The 1907 Canton Depot was moved to its current location in 1997. It currently houses meeting and event spaces, a museum and the Canton Chamber of Commerce. Wednesday evenings rom June through October, the parking lot is home to the Canton Famers Market. More information and reservations are available by contacting Canton City Hall.
Canyon Lake Resort, a family-owned lodging facility near Rapid City, has 11 motel rooms, six two-bedroom cabins, three studio cabins, one three-bedroom cabin, a five-bedroom house and a nine-bedroom reunion lodge. The lodge features two units, both with their own kitchen. The first floor unit accommodates 20+ guests with five bedrooms and three and a half baths. The second floor unit accommodates 18+ guests and features four bedrooms, each with a private bath. Both units have access to a patio.

Along with the Aberdeen Community Theater's live theater season between March and November, ACT’s Capitol Cinema programming features Hollywood films seven nights a week throughout the year and an art gallery in the main lobby. Museum displays include a horse wagon, a 40-foot western mural, three large bronze statues, film biographies and more. During the summer, we are open seven days a week (closed Mondays, September-May).

The Cattleman's Club steakhouse was established in 1986 by Myril Arch, a rancher from the Pierre area. There is still sawdust on the floor, a reminder of the days when carpeting was too expensive. People from all over the world have visited us and enjoyed our steaks, prime rib and burgers. All with a great view of the Missouri River. We are open Monday through Saturday, 5-10 p.m.
