The Restmore Inn is located two miles south of Hill City, among Ponderosa pine trees. It is a year-round, cozy retreat with newly-remodeled, smoke-free, wildlife-themed cabins (5) and motel rooms (3) with and without kitchenettes. All units are air-conditioned. Cabins have Wi-Fi, HD TV, full-sized refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee, pots and pans, dishes, gas grill, fire pit, etc. There is ample parking for trailers, and a playground is also available. We do not allow pets.
Join us for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a special event at Richie Z's Brickhouse BBQ & Grill in Pierre. We offer our downstairs restaurant and our upstairs event facility for receptions, parties and private meetings. We can accommodate 25-200 guests in our upstairs party room complete with restrooms, full bar, private entrance and outside deck with a view of the river. Enjoy the best barbeque in central South Dakota. Our hours are 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Tuesday-Saturday, and 7 a.m.-2 p.m., Sunday.
Richmond Lake Recreation Area provides numerous outdoor recreational opportunities. The south unit has a 24 site campground, a camping cabin, beach, picnic areas, playground, boat ramp and 3.2 mile multiuse trail. The Forest Drive unit has a scenic drive, multiuse trails, warming shelter, and an 18-hole disc golf course. Archery deer hunting is allowed (during season). The warming shelter is a trailhead for the local snowmobile trail. Cross-country ski trails are groomed during the winter.
