Black Hills Motorcycle Show
Hosted by Deadwood Custom Cycles, the Black Hills Motorcycle Show features custom-built bikes and industry leaders like Paul Yaffee, Klock Werks, Feuling Parts, Hofmann Designs, Bikers Against Bullies and more. Held at the Deadwood Mountain Grand Events Center, this premiere event showcases 17 classes of one-of-a-kind bikes designed by the most skilled, creative, and influential custom-builders in the motorcycle world. Running from 12-8 p.m., the day includes a motorcycle show & contest with cash and prizes, celebrity judges, vendor booths, photo ops, kids activities, and live music. Food, beverages and gaming are available on-site. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Sacred Mountain Retreat Center.Black Hills Renaissance Festival
The Black Hills Renaissance Festival, held at Recreational Springs Resort near Lead, will take you on a magical tour through time and legend. Enjoy music, Renaissance-themed entertainment and games. Discover exquisite items in the village shoppes and marvel at the artisan demonstrations. Feast on food and drink fit for royalty including local mead, ale and wine. Hours are 11 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. on Sunday. See our website for information about single-day and weekend passes and a link to purchase. A free shuttle service will be provided. Parking and shuttle pick-up is at 160 W Main Street in Lead (Sanford Lab Homestake Visitor Center). Limited parking will be available on-site and the cost is $20 per car.Brew Walk
Given the great success of Aberdeen's downtown Wine Walk (held in May), we added a version craft beer lovers won’t want to miss. Sample local and regional brews, handcrafted and unique. Beer drinkers, this is your opportunity to pair two of the best things in life – shopping and drinking. The Brew Walk consists exploring ten downtown business stops on Main Street and includes craft beer samples from both regional and South Dakota-local breweries. Hours are 5-8 p.m. The start of the walk is at Malchow Plaza, 506 S Main Street.Bulls & Pulls Tractor Pull at Prairie Village
Located west of Madison, Historic Prairie Village hosts an Antique Tractor Pull in early June (the same weekend as the Northern Bull Riding Tour). This family-friendly event charges no admission for attendees. Tractor pull participants pay $20 per hook. Trophies will be awarded in all classes and there will be two special money classes. Food will be served by the Prairie Village Track Shack. The Northern Bull Riding Tour is held on Friday. More details about both events are available on our website.Canton Open Air Market

Head to the Spearfish City Park for the annual summer Canyon Acoustic Series in Spearfish. Held on Wednesday nights in June and July, the series features free music, local food trucks, and more. Castlewood Days brings the community together to celebrate small town life. Held annually the second weekend in August in Castlewood in northeastern South Dakota, this festival offers fun and entertainment for all ages. Events throughout the weekend and around town include a kiddie bike parade, bean bag tournament, 5K color walk/run, car show, tractor show, parade, inflatables, food vendors, a street dance and more. The Dakota Angler Ice Institute was started in 2008 to give ice fishermen an opportunity to see the latest and greatest in the ice fishing industry and to learn from the experts how to use the equipment. Throughout the years, the Ice Institute has a had a number of professors share their knowledge. A few of those have included the "Godfather" of ice fishing - Dave Genz, Jason Mitchell, Chip Leer, Brad Hawthorne, Dennis Kassube, Brian Brosdahl, and many, many more. You'll be able to see all the latest and greatest in the ice fishing world, including portable and permanent ice shacks, augers, electronics, as well as plenty of jigs and lures. Held at the Sioux Falls Convention Center & Arena, admission is $7 per day, or get a weekend pass for $15. Hours are 3-9 p.m., Friday; 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday; and 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Sunday.Pagination
