Iron Creek Lake is located in an untouched area of the pristine Black Hills west of scenic Spearfish Canyon. While it is off the beaten tourism path, a trip to the lake is just a 20-minute excursion south of Spearfish on a well-maintained gravel road. There are 12 rustic cabins that generally sleep four, in different configurations. There are also tent and RV camping sites with electrical hookups, only. Paddle boat, paddle board and kayak rentals are available. Iron Creek Lake offers the perfect venue for swimming, picnicking, camping, hiking, fishing and boating. The phone number is active from about May 15 through September 15. Reservations are best made by phone.
The Iron Horse Inn is centrally located one block off of Main Street in Historic Deadwood. The rooms are all non-smoking and tastefully decorated with Victorian charm and modern conveniences. Amenities include free on-site parking, slots casino, 24-hour front desk, a bar, and a restaurant featuring a daily breakfast and lunch menu. A limited evening menu is available during the summer months. The Smoking Parlor, a retail cigarette store, is also available on site. No pets are allowed.

Located at Spokane Creek Cabins & Campground, the Iron Mountain Road Visitor Center & Store offers a unique shopping and educational experience. Along with the many souvenirs and gifts we offer, our store also has snacks, gas, camping supplies, sundries, firewood, ice and more. We also have a café serving breakfast, lunch & dinner. The café is well known for fresh-baked cinnamon rolls and made-to-order pizzas. We open mid-May and close Labor Day (early September).
