The Box, also known as the Box Elder Events Center, is the Midwest’s newest state-of-the-art facility with professional DMX audio-visual technology, a full-service catering kitchen, and more than 60,000-square-feet of event space. We create affordable, modern, and innovative events, and look forward to providing world-class services for sporting events, conventions, weddings, and so much more. Our address is Box Elder, but we are located on the eastern edge of Rapid City, immediately adjacent to the WaTiki® Indoor Waterpark Resort and five lodging properties (Courtyard, Residence Inn, Fairfield, La Quinta and Home2 Suites).
The Boxcar Sweet Stop is a seasonal business featuring handmade hard ice cream (made in South Dakota), candy, craft sodas and pie shakes, as well as toys and games for sale. All of this can be found at one of the finest locations in the Historic Gurney Seed & Nursery Building one block north of the Missouri River in lower downtown Yankton in the Meridian District. We are only two blocks from the historic Meridian Pedestrian Bridge and offer a great patio area. From late May through early September, our hours are 12-9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 12-6 p.m., Sunday. The Bramble Park Zoo in Watertown is the second-largest zoo in South Dakota. On 18 acres, we feature approximately 800 animals representing 130 species from around the world and those native to South Dakota. Also on-site are the Discovery Center, Australian Adventure, Bear Crossing, Terry Redlin Environmental Center, Diversity of Life Complex and an interactive KidZoo. We have daily hours, year-round. Hours of operation are extended Memorial Day through Labor Day.
The Celebrity Hotel’s Branch House is centrally located a bit off Deadwood’s Historic Main Street. It was originally built in 1912 as the Armour & Co. Branch cold storage food warehouse and renovated in 1996. This extremely well-insulated building offers a quiet night’s rest in one of eight deluxe rooms, each with a different floor plan. The charming rooms have a warm feeling with natural brick interior walls. All rooms are done in Mission-style décor, down to the hand-painted stenciling. Each room has a coffee maker, Harney & Son’s fine teas, a hair dryer, and cable TV with free HBO. The lower level houses a private conference room that holds up to 15 people. There is convenient parking. This is the perfect location for that small group retreat, get-together or family reunion.
At the Branding Iron Bistro in Pierre, we offer a full espresso bar and homemade bakery items, along with a breakfast and lunch menu. We have daily lunch specials and we're known for our caramels rolls. Check out our chocolate confections, our selection of hard ice cream, and the items we have for sale, including coffees, olive oils and seasonings. We are open 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday; 7 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday; and 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Sunday.
The Branding Iron Steakhouse & Saloon one mile south of Belle Fourche is a steakhouse, bar, private social club, restaurant and saloon. We feature hand-cut steaks, Prime Rib on Fridays and Saturdays, and a full bar and wine list with daily drink specials. There is live entertainment and an outdoor patio. Our hours are 11 a.m.- 2 a.m., Monday through Saturday.
At Bread & Circus Sandwich Kitchen, the goal is to provide quality, handcrafted food and beverages in a casual environment. Besides small plates, salads, soups and sandwiches, we also have a deli case offering house-made deli meats and sausages. Sourcing local ingredients as much as possible, we strive to shorten the distance between the field and your plate. Come check us out in downtown Sioux Falls. Our hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Friday and Saturday.
Nestled in a pristine, private setting, Bridle Ridge Horse and RV Camp is just seven miles north of Custer and offers some of the most spectacular riding and scenery in the Black Hills. At 7166 ft., it offers 360-degree views of South Dakota and Wyoming. Riders can also catch views of Crazy Horse Memorial from several different locations on numerous trails into the high country. Bridle Ridge offers 18 full hook-up sites, all with water, sewer, 30 or 50 amp electric service, picnic table and fire pit (13 of the sites vary from 65 feet to 100 feet in length and are big rig friendly). The 22 stall barn features a 12-foot breezeway to conveniently store feed and tack. Reservations are being accepted for the 2019 season (July 15-October 15).

In April 2022, Wine Time on Main in Sioux Falls will become Brix Wine Bar. A full restaurant is scheduled to be added later in the year. It is a second establishment for the owners of R Wine Bar & Kitchen (in the East Bank). To start, Brix will be open Wednesday through Saturday.
