Buffalo Rock Lodge & Cabins is a bed and breakfast in the beautiful Black Hills near Keystone, just a few miles from Mount Rushmore National Memorial and Custer State Park. The lodge is constructed of massive spruce logs with an extensive deck facing west with views of pine trees, rock outcrops and Mount Rushmore. Inside it features an over-sized natural rock fireplace and genuine Western and antique artifacts. We serve a full, Western-style breakfast each day and a tasty, homemade dessert each evening. Our three cabins are outfitted with comfortable beds and seating areas, these cabins are perfect for getting out into nature, without being too far into nature.
Named a Top 10 US Safari by MSN, 2015, our Buffalo Safari Jeep Tour will take you where only we can go: off-road. Trek through Custer State Park in an open-air jeep in search of pronghorns, elk and the noble buffalo. Along the way, our guides will share historical and educational facts about the park and wildlife, and help you spot the critters. Tours depart daily from the State Game Lodge, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., May through October. The ride takes about 1.5-2 hours.
Here at the Buglin' Bull in downtown Custer, we offer a full menu with a large variety of dishes for the entire family. Sandwiches, steaks, prime rib and seafood entrees are available all day long and so are buffalo and elk burgers. Salads and wraps are also available, along with our homemade pizza. Our full bar offers a large variety of beer, wine and cocktails. Everything on the menu is available to go, including beer and wine. Our hours are 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday.
Bullwacker's Saloon is the oldest saloon in the Black Hills. It's been continuously operating as a saloon since 1888. We serve hot meals – lunch and dinner – and cold drinks. We are located between Sturgis and Spearfish in historic downtown Whitewood, South Dakota. Our hours are 10:30 a.m.-2 a.m., Monday through Saturday, and 10:30 a.m.-10 p.m. on Sunday.
Bumpin’ Buffalo Bar and Grill is located in Hill City, in the Heart of the Black Hills, only moments away from Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse Mountain and Custer State Park. We are well known for our Bumpin’ Buffalo Burger and our famous Chislic. Come bump, beer and wine with us. We are open 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday, Friday and Saturday; 11 a.m.-8 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday; and 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday. (Hours change seasonally.)
Enjoy a peaceful stay in our Bunkhouse on the Prairie at our working family ranch west of Faulkton. The bunkhouse has separate parking and entrance from the main house. The single bedroom features a king-sized bed and there is a pull-out couch in the main living space. The kitchenette includes a coffee pot, microwave and small refrigerator. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with shampoo, conditioner, and soap dispensers, and a blow dryer. The bunkhouse is cozy and a great place to relax. We want you to feel comfortable to bring your family or a few friends for a stay and be in the peaceful countryside.
