Pleasant Valley Farm, located southwest of Custer, has been serving the Black Hills since 2004. Hundreds of guests have enjoyed tours of the farm and gained valuable information about sustainable farming. In the past, facilities have limited the farm to only hosting one person or family at

The Ponderosa Motor Lodge is nestled in the beautiful pines of the Black Hills between the historic gold rush towns of Lead and Deadwood. During winter, it has direct access to snowmobile trails. The property features a fire pit, picnic sites, grills, and a pavilion area for large group gatherings. Cabin amenities include refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, coffee makers, blow dryers and free wireless Internet. This is a pet-friendly property.
Located 30 miles west of Sioux Falls and just south of Montrose, Porter Sculpture Park was established in 2000. It is an outdoor sculpture park that is visited by tourists from all over the world. There are more than 50 sculptures illustrating the artist's unique view. The tallest sculpture – a bull’s head – is 60 feet tall and weighs 25 tons (the second tallest is the 40-foot horse, weighing in at 40 tons). They can be seen from Interstate 90. The park is open daily, 7 a.m.-8:30 p.m., May 15 through October 15.
Pounders Pub & Grub in Aberdeen is a fun, casual sports bar with a great environment that is designed with a “garage” feel. From the open ceiling to the concrete floor, tire tracks on the wall and tool boxes for server stations, it makes for a great place to enjoy some fantastic food while sipping on one of our many craft beers. We offer 40 craft beers on tap and 60 in bottles, along with burgers, hot dogs, appetizers, wings, pizzas and specialty sandwiches. We’re open daily, 11 a.m.-2 a.m.

If you’re looking for a cabin or motel in a peaceful setting close to Mount Rushmore, the Powder House is for you. We are open mid-May through mid-October.
The Powderhorn Family Restaurant in Lemmon is a pizza place that also offers burgers and other selections. We are open seven days per week and our hours are 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Monday through Sunday.
Prairie Butte Lodge is a family-owned and -operated hunting lodge near Timber Lake in north-central South Dakota. We provide private, unguided, exclusive hunts to our guests. With more than 3,000 acres of privately-owned hunting ground, ring-necked pheasants abound in their natural habitat, allowing us to provide a high quality authentic hunt. There is also the opportunity to hunt grouse, dove, turkey and partridge. (A hunting license can also be obtained for larger game, including deer, coyote and prairie dogs.) Your unguided hunt includes lodging/housing for up to 15 guests, a bird cleaning/processing station, dog kennels, and access to/storage of ATVs. Our family is dedicated to providing the best hunting experience possible, and are willing to work with each group to ensure your expectations are met.
Located on 6th Street and Main in downtown Rapid City, Prairie Edge stands two stories high and stretches out for half a block. Inside, the hardwood floors and polished cabinetry bring to mind the spirit of the Old West, while the distinct smell of sweetgrass and soft sound of a Lakota flute evoke the mystique of the Great Plains Indian. We feature traditional and contemporary Native American art, crafts and music, as well as craft supplies and dried herbs. We are open 9 a.m.-7 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Sunday.
Prairie Homestead is an original sod dugout home and farmstead built in 1909 near the northeast entrance to Badlands National Park. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, a visit lets you follow in the footsteps of pioneers, see farm animals and rare white prairie dogs, and dress in period clothing as you tour this history lesson about rural heritage. Enjoy our informative video, visitor center, snack bar and large restrooms. Visit our gift shop for real western gifts and souvenirs.
