This quaint breakfast joint in downtown Brookings has been serving ooey gooey cinnamon rolls for years. A staple in the community, Cook's Kitchen offers simple breakfast and lunch items, made to order. There is no code, so feel free to roll out of bed and let hunger lead you to everything but the kitchen sink. Be sure to come with an appetite, the Cook's Cakes are the size of your face and sides will take an extra plate. Join the community at Cook’s where almost everybody knows your name. Dine in, take out or delivery is available. Our hours are 6 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday and Tuesday; 6 a.m.-8 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday; and 7 a.m.-2 p.m., Sunday.

Corn Maze at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park

The Corn Maze at Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park near Brandon has more than seven acres of twists, turns and dead ends carved into corn stalks that reach over your head, offering an experience perfect for those hungry for fun. Fun for all agess, you can solve the maze under blue skies, with flashlights, or the light of the moon on a starry night. Corn Maze hours are 5-9 p.m. on Fridays, 12-9 p.m. on Saturdays, and 1-5 p.m. on Sundays. 

Corn Palace Gift Shop

The World's Only Corn Palace Gift Shop in Mitchell offers a variety of unique gift ideas and novelty items. We feature many South Dakota Made Products such as corn cob jelly, buffalo jerky and more, as well as T-shirts, hats, and popcorn. We are next door to the Corn Palace and are open seasonal days and hours. Our summer hours, for late May through early September, are 8 a.m.-6 p.m., seven days a week.

The Cornerpost Grapefarm & Winehouse

At The Cornerpost Grapefarm & Winehouse west of Huron, we planted our first grapes vines in 2014. They were planted originally as a hobby for Ryan to breed them. Turns out it’s more fun to make wine than breed them. By 2016, we had collected our first crop. We have currently made eight different types of wine and are looking to add more. Stop in for a glass or two and unwind. Our winery is the perfect place for a relaxing outing, wine tasting, and more. participants. The main lodge has a rustic atmosphere with unique characteristics. We added 3,500 square feet of living quarters, and a 1,400-square-foot cabin to accommodate any size group. Our lodges are equipped with gas grills, modern cooking appliances, wireless internet and fully stocked with any utensils you could ever need.
