Skogen Kitchen

Skogen Kitchen, located in Custer in the southern Black Hills, is a chef-driven concept that offers innovative dining options. Skogen means “the Forest” in Norwegian. This name is a nod to our heritage and our surroundings. However, you will see influences on our menu from other cultures. We offer fun, innovative and creative options for dinner, 5-8 p.m. (Tuesday-Saturday). We look forward to seeing you soon!

Sky Zone Trampoline Park

Sky Zone provides thrilling activities for all ages and fitness levels where they are guaranteed to have a ‘soaring’ time. Filled with wall-to-wall trampolines, Sky Zone provides a brand new way to move and sets the stage for a variety of activities such as 3-D Dodgeball and SkyRobics - an invigorating and fun fitness class. Participants can also partake in Open Jump where they can bounce for fun, freestyle their latest moves, or jump into a giant foam pit. We are open Tuesday-Sunday.

Skyline Wilderness Area

Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy incredible views of Rapid City and the surrounding area from the Skyline Wilderness Area. This 150-acre park features numerous walking, biking and hiking trails. Its trail system is a network of secluded, single-track trails. Skyline Wilderness Area is a public park that is owned and maintained by the Rapid City Department of Parks & Recreation. Park hours are 6 a.m.-10 p.m., daily.

The Sled Haus

The Sled House in Lead in the northern Black Hills serves New York-style burgers, sandwiches and German selections, along with domestic, import and craft beer. We are open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.- 8 p.m.

Smith Zimmermann Museum

The Lake County Historical Society, along with the Smith Zimmermann Museum, enriches lives through education and preservation. We are dedicated to linking the past to the future by collecting, documenting, preserving, securing, researching, exhibiting and interpreting objects of cultural developmental and historical value to the Lake County area from the mid-1800’s to the present. The museum is presently located on the campus of Dakota State University. Museum hours are 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.

The Smoked Culture

At The Smoked Culture, we strive to make Sioux Falls proud by serving up some bomb BBQ. All meat is seasoned with a signature dry rub and smoked low and slow and sliced per order. We promise to always give every cook everything we've got.
