Short Pines Hunting, LLC, is operated by Larry and Beth Picek. We offer semi-guided hunts for antelope, whitetail and mule deer (archery and firearms). Hunts are in Harding County in northwestern South Dakota. There are approximately 3,500 acres in the pine-covered hills and approximately 4,000 acres consisting of prairie and hay ground. Sica (pronounced she-cha) Hollow State Park - located 15 miles northwest of Sisseton in the northeastern corner of South Dakota - is a place filled with rugged beauty and ancient mysteries. The park, part of the Prairie Coteau Hills, offers a wide variety of year-round activities and is the source of many eerie Native American legends. Hiking, camping and horseback riding are all enjoyed in this scenic park.
The Sick-N-Twisted Brewery in Hill City was founded in 2012 and has been providing specialty beers to patrons ever since.
