Inspired by the Homestake Gold Mine and the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment, we strive to provide the same welcoming, memorable experience to locals and visitors, alike, and to build cherished relationships. Our restaurant on Main Street in Lead serves up appetizers, wings, salads, desserts, and, of course, pizzas (including 'create-your-own'). All of our food products are fresh and purchased from local distributors. We are veteran-owned and -operated. Our hours are Monday, 2-10 p.m.; closed Tuesday; Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-11 p.m.

From our hand knit blankets, to heirloom quilts, to the dishes Grandma had, to a scent that triggers happy memories, Gone2Pieces is a place to visit and revisit. We are open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday.
Good Day Cafe in Spearfish is a farm-to-table breakfast cafe and coffee shop with house made kombucha, craft beer, and local wine. We have a full coffee bar with unique espresso drinks, teas, and brewed coffee. With a food-forward approach and a commitment to community, we hope to foster an environment that feeds body, mind, and heart. Our hours are 6 a.m.-2 p.m., Wednesday through Monday (closed Tuesday).
The Good Earth is a working farm just south of Lennox. We use sustainable practices to grow vegetables that are sold through our CSA and farm stand. We educate aspiring growers through our intensive internship program. We take care of animals that are the life of this place. Over the past ten years we have continued to make improvements to the structures that were built by those who came before us. We have four camping sites in the pasture near the creek and one near the homestead in the shelter belt. Our sites will accommodate RVs but do not have electricity, and are first-come, first-served. Head to our farm and meet the animals, walk around, grab a beverage, and enjoy the South Dakota prairie.
Good Earth Natural Foods in Spearfish started as a small co-op back in 1978. Over the years, we have grown in leaps and bounds, from a small operation in a garage, to a 6,000+ square foot retail space on Main Street. We strive to bring healthy, bio-dynamic, fair trade, organic, and/or sustainable goods to our community. From endless bulk bins and organic produce to essential oils and personal care products, Good Earth Natural Foods has a wide variety of quality goods. In addition, there is The Loft, featuring apparel and fair trade goods for the whole family. Plus, our Sunshine Cafe is open 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and offers daily specials, homemade desserts and gluten free options.
Good Earth State Park southeast of Sioux Falls is an important cultural and historical site as well as a unique nature retreat adjacent to the most developed and populated part of our state. The site itself is one of the oldest sites of long-term human habitation in the United States. The most recent addition the state park system, Good Earth offers prime opportunities for birding and hiking.
