Creekside Camping

Creekside Camping campground is owned by a local family that has been in the area for generations. The owners, Tom and Lori, live close by and manage all the grounds, reservations and are a phone call away. Located 4.5 miles south of the town of Interior and just outside of Badlands National Park, the campground offers peace and quiet with picturesque scenery and along a creek that flows almost year-round. The evenings offer perfect views of the stars and you can hear the creek flowing gently. We offer five full RV hookups with 30 or 50 amps, and sewer and water. Tent camping is also allowed. Each site contains garbage and a picnic table.

Creekside Lodge

Custer State Park Resort's newest lodge, Creekside Lodge was built in 2008 and offers modern, oversized lodge rooms with a woodsy aesthetic near the historic State Game Lodge. Creekside Lodge is open year-round for adventures in any season. There are also modern indoor meeting spaces, with a built-in sound system and accommodations for groups of 12-75.

Crooked Creek Campground & Resort

Crooked Creek Resort and RV Park is nestled in a valley in the southern Black Hills, just outside of Hill City. We are located minutes away from national monuments, the George S. Crow Peak Brewing Company in Spearfish offers the finest hand crafted beers in the Black Hills. We are open seven day per week and our hours are 2-10 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 12 noon-12 midnight, Friday; 11 a.m.-12 midnight, Saturday; and 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Sunday. The Custer Beacon is a restaurant, lounge and live music venue in Custer. We are committed to providing the southern Black Hills with a beautiful space to play, eat and be together. Our hours are Tuesday-Thursday, 11 a.m.-8 p.m., and Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m.-10 p.m.

Custer State Park

Few truly wild places remain in this country. Custer State Park is one of them. Located in the Black Hills of South Dakota, the park is home to a variety of wildlife and magnificent scenery spanning 71,000 acres. Nearly 1,300 bison roam the prairies and hills of the park, which they share with pronghorn, big horn sheep, elk and curious burros. Visitors often enjoy close encounters with these permanent residents along the 18-mile Wildlife Loop Road that winds around the southern edge of the park.
