Alaska Cafe is a hometown cafe on Main Street in Lemmon. Specials are listed on Facebook and include dinners, baskets, soups, cookies, pies and Kuchen. We are generally open Monday through Sunday and our hours are 7 a.m.-2 p.m., daily.

Based out of Chamberlain along the Missouri River, Allen’s Hillside has fished South Dakota’s Missouri River from Lake Francis Case to Lake Sharpe to Lake Oahe during the past three decades. We place a great deal of pride and satisfaction in the personalized guide services we provide, with return clients and referrals comprising more than 70 percent of our business. We do our best to fit our experienced guides with your experience and interests. Our fishing and hunting lodge (Hillside Motel) caters to fishermen and hunters, and we provide a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Our specialties are walleye and smallmouth bass fishing and pheasant and waterfowl hunting.

The Alliance

The South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance, located in Sioux Falls, is organized exclusively for charitable and education purposes. Our purpose is to provide support services, encouragement, camaraderie, entertainment and esprit de corps for military veterans, active duty servicemembers, actively-serving Reserve Component servicemembers, their families and all who support them, to preserve South Dakota and American military heritage, and to provide historic and current military educational opportunities to civilians of all ages. The Alliance facilities include a museum, coffee club, The Hangar Gift Shoppe, The Patriot Grill (see hours online), Club Lobo (see hours online) and a gun range & armory (see hours online). Administrative offices are open 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Alpine Inn

The staff of the Harney Peak Hotel, now the Alpine Inn, has sought to accommodate guests for more than a century. Built in 1886, this historic landmark and its reputation for fine dining, became the showplace of Hill City. Family-owned and operated, the Alpine Inn carries on this tradition. The luncheon menu boasts both ethnic European and contemporary dishes. The streamlined evening menu features filet mignon and homemade desserts. Our hours are 11 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and 5-9 p.m., Monday-Saturday.

Al's Dream

Al’s Dream hunting preserve consists of more than 800 acres of prime South Dakota pheasant hunting habitat north of Flandreau. We’re always confident that your hunt will be successful, with seasoned guides helping lead each hunt. In addition to your guided hunt, Al’s Dream provides transportation, clay birds, refreshments, meals, bird cleaning and packing. We host people from various regions and states from across the country to gather and share successful hunts on the prairies of eastern South Dakota.

Sweet treats include soft ice cream, snow cones, milkshakes and malts. Our hours are 5 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Saturday.
