Hoversten Orchard

Hoversten Orchard is a locally-owned apple orchard located north of Brandon. You can pick your own apples or grab a bag at our seasonal store (mid-August through October). We also have cider, preserves, jellies, salsas, barbecue sauces, honey, squash and pumpkins. Our store hours are 12-6 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday. Picking closes at 5:30 p.m.

The Hubcap Diner is a 50s-themed diner located downtown in Hill City. We are open seven days a week, 11 a.m.-8 p.m., May through August. Our menu features sandwiches, burgers and salads. We are well-known for our sundaes and malts/shakes, so make sure you leave room for dessert.

We are a small farm winery near Garretson in southeastern South Dakota. We offer a selection of wines from our own grapes, as well as specialty fruit wines. Hunter's Inn

Hunter's Inn is located approximately four miles northeast of Whitewood in the northern Black Hills. Our home is a five-bedroom, three-story house set on 7.5 acres. We rent out four of our five bedrooms. Three are queens and comfortably accommodate two adults. The fourth has two double beds and is a great location for the children or four adults can share. The sunrises are spectacular, the scenery of rolling hills and open fields is peaceful, and we have an unobstructed view of Bear Butte. Coffee or a drink on the front porch is a wonderful way to start or complete the day. The backyard firepit is a great gathering place with family or friends. We offer onsite astronomy and viewing of the night skies. We share our 16-inch telescope with guests when skies are clear.
