Open year-round (weather permitting), the outdoor Black Hills Farmers Market offers locally-produced foods and fine arts including fruits, vegetables, mushrooms, meats, eggs, honey, fresh-baked goods, herbs, pickles, salsas, jams, jellies, dairy, and hand-crafted items. We are located at Market Park in Rapid City and our hours are 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays, May through October; 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wednesdays, July through October; and 9 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturdays, November through April. Black Hills Aerial Adventures offers flightseeing tours over the breathtaking Black Hills and Badlands. Flights are available seven days a week, 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m., May through October. Our heliports are located near Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Crazy Horse Memorial and Badlands National Park. Reservations are not required, but are welcome. Our helicopters can accommodate 3-4 passengers. With prior arrangement, we can accommodate most requests for customization. See our rates on our website.
Since 1997, Black Hills Bagels has been a stopping place for coffee and breakfast for Rapid City residents. Our 28 varieties of scratch-made, preservative-free, heart-healthy and delicious bagels are great for breakfast, lunch, a snack, or to go with dinner. We blend 18 flavors of cream cheese with real fruit and fresh-cut veggies. Our breakfast and lunch sandwiches include the freshest meats (we bake our own turkey), cheeses and nutritious veggies. We serve locally-roasted Dark Canyon coffee.
Black Hills Bagels Express is the drive-through version of Black Hills Bagels on Mount Rushmore Road. We serve 28 varieties of scratch-made, preservative-free, heart-healthy and delicious bagels, along with locally-roasted Dark Canyon coffee and espresso. We blend our own 18 flavors of cream cheese with real fruit and fresh cut veggies. Our hours are 6:30 a.m.- 2 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 7:30 a.m.-1 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.
Your adventure awaits! Black Hills Balloons flies the southern Black Hills. Custer State Park and the Custer Valley are the heart of the flying area; just miles from Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Crazy Horse Memorial and Wind Cave National Park. Your flight over mountains, valleys, lakes and prairies is a great way to view the area; home to elk, antelope, whitetail deer, buffalo and mule deer. Weather-permitting, flights take place daily at sunrise, May 1-October 31. Reservations required.
We started Black Hills Bicycles simply because we love to ride bikes. We hope our enthusiasm translates into the kind of bike shop people leave feeling happy. Located in Rapid City, Black Hills Bicycles proudly stocks these brands: Pivot, Rocky Mountain, Norco, Yeti, Borealis and Specialized. We are open six days a week, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
The Black Hills Bistro, located in Hill City, serves breakfast and lunch all day in a relaxed atmosphere. Our break menu features traditional fare like eggs and French Toast, as well as breakfast tacos and avocado toast, and our lunch menu offers sandwiches, soup, chislic, salads and more. We also have coffee and lunch specials and featured soups. We are open year-round and our hours are 7 a.m.-2 p.m., Wednesday through Saturday (see Facebook for current hours).
