The Triple R Ranch is located within the 27,766-acre Norbeck Wildlife Preserve, three miles from the 10,700-acre Black Elk Wilderness Area, and in the middle of the Black Hills National Forest. We center the activities around lots of horseback riding into the scenic back country. The ranch is 28 miles from Rapid City and only minutes from Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Keystone, Crazy Horse Memorial and Custer State Park. We are open May through September. We source our milk and cream directly from Stensland Family Farms, where our proprietary formula is followed to make our super premium Two Cows base ice cream mix. The ingredients are simple – cream, milk, organic sugar and a natural food stabilizer. When making our flavors, we do not use artificial flavors or colors; everything you eat is wholesome real food. We offer handcrafted ice cream, gelato and sorbet, as well as soups, sandwiches, burgers, pot pie, quiche and salads.
