Zesto

Zesto is a locally-owned restaurant in the heart of Mitchel that dates back to the 1950s. Our menu includes our famous footlong hotdog and soft serve ice cream and sherbet, as well as a lot more. There is indoor and outdoor seating and a drive-thru window. We are open 11 a.m.-9 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 11 a.m.-10 p.m., Friday through Sunday, from March to October. The Zesto Drive Inn in Watertown is an ice cream shop and fast food restaurant. Located in downtown Brookings, the Antique Gallery Mall is a multi-dealer antique mall with quality antiques and a friendly atmosphere. You'll find two levels for reminiscing and treasure hunting, an awesome variety of depression and elegant glassware, primitives, farm, furniture, vintage clothes, comic books, books, jewelry, Victorian, mid-century, re-purposing, and more. Cottonwood Coffee

The downtown Brookings Cottonwood Coffee was the original coffeehouse, built in 2006. Since then, we have served exceptional coffee and managed to become an integral part of the surrounding community. Staffed by knowledgeable and friendly baristas, you can find anything here from a handcrafted shot of espresso (roasted in the same building) to real fruit smoothies. From-scratch baked goods are brought in daily and the lunch and dinner menus boast a wide variety of sandwiches, soups and other fresh, delicious options. We are open seven days per week and our hours are 7 a.m.-10 p.m., Sunday through Saturday.

FlatIron

Built in 1911, the FlatIron was originally known as The Gibson House — and is reminiscent of the Flatiron in Manhattan, NY with its triangular footprint. This two-story boutique hotel is one of many historic sandstone buildings located in Hot Springs. Dahl Arts Center

The
Dahl Arts Center, located in Downtown Rapid City, is a community-owned art
space, offering a variety of attractions. It features five curated art
galleries, a hands-on Art Studio designed for families, and the Dahl Artists'
Market, where art crafted by local and regional artists is available for
purchase. Managed by the Rapid City Arts Council, The Dahl is a community space
that hosts all kinds of arts and culture events. It also provides art education
programs for both youth and adults, along with open pottery and art studios,
offering people a welcoming space to unleash their creativity. The Dahl is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Entry to the
galleries is always free, with donations warmly welcomed.

1880 Train Holiday Express

Experience the magic as you journey from Hill City to the North Pole where Santa will be waiting to board the train. Each child will get the chance to meet Santa. All Holiday Express passengers receive hot chocolate, a sugar cookie and candy cane. The 1880 Train depot and train will be festooned with holiday cheer. This holiday ride is perfect for the whole family and lasts one hour. In 2025, varying departures are available November 26, 28 and 29, and December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 23, 24, 27 and 28.
