The city of Wagner, South Dakota has been known as the home of the "World's Best Labor Day Celebration" since 1900. The weekend is packed full of events and activities, including a road race, kiddie parade, poker run, midway/carnival, kids fishing tournament, motorcycle ride, two nights of rodeo (Saturday and Sunday), a Festival in the Park (Sunday and Monday), and a parade at 10 a.m. on Monday. One thing is clear, each Wagner Labor Day celebration is better than the last. Come see for yourself!
Bring the entire family to Wylie Park in Aberdeen on the 4th of July for a fun-filled day. Take part in the many activities at the park throughout the day including mini-golf, go-karts, bumper boats, paddleboats, canoes, a Storybook Land Theatre performance (7 p.m.), Aberdeen Municipal Band concert (8:30 p.m.) and the fireworks display at dusk. Admission is free. (Fees will be incurred to ride the Storybook Land attractions.)
Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Yankton. Join us for multiple events that span the entire day. Enjoy a variety of family-friendly and free activities taking place in Riverside Park. The evening will consist of two concert events, food vendors, Ben's Brewing, and the region's largest fireworks show, displayed on off the upper deck of the Meridian Bridge starting at dusk (approximately 10 p.m.). The Rushmore View RV Park and Campground is located adjacent to the Magnuson Grand Rushmore View hotel in Keystone. A view of Mount Rushmore is available from the main parking lot and check-in area. It is within walking distance to shopping, restaurants, and attractions. This seasonal RV park offers full-service, pull-through or back-in, shaded sites along Grizzly Creek. The Great Plains Zoo in Sioux Falls features more than 1,000 animals from around the world.
